So now that I started this blog and only posted once or twice, I thought I should post again.
I think it's kind of funny that what we think of as boring ordinary things in our lives are really interesting to other people. Makes me wonder what they do in their lives. I'm not that interesting of a person.
I went to church today and had a meeting afterwards. Now I just finished watching Ace of Cakes. That has to be my favorite show. It really makes me laugh, and I am fascinated by how the achieve such artistic cakes. It kind of reminds me of creating an artistic quilt, your only limit is YOU! If we would take all those hair-brained ideas and just go out on a limb and create them or do them, we would probably be even better than we are today. Why do we limit ourselves? Is it that someone might not "like' what we did? Well, not everyone is going to like our point of view or what we create. That's what makes us individuals.
I want to inspire someone to create something great! Put yourself out on that limb and give of yourself; mind, heart, and soul. Then see how good that makes you feel. . . . . . .Super Great!!

Quilting is my passion, my kids and husband are my life. But I get mixed up sometimes and wonder if quilting is my life!

Painting one of the girls rooms.....Check.
Another thing off my list for the summer, painting the upstairs girls room. If not for my sister-in-law, they wouldn't have known they had that option. Thanks Alicia!
So after painting pink walls and white baseboard, I'm almost done. I still have the door and closet doors left. It's too hot to paint out today, I'll do it tomorrow morning. Too bad I have many more things on my To Do List. :(
Oh well, I'll get done what I can.
